AFC
Baltimore Ravens: I don’t think the ravens will be as good as the years past joe flacco isn’t in my mind going to be the starter there for a lot longer they will not win a superbowl with him taking the snaps, they are getting older on defense, and the release of todd heap and derrick mason were very questionable.
Buffalo Bills: Consists of Steve Johnson a second year under achieving RB and a QB from Harvard. No chance!!
Cincinnati Bengals: So far they have lost their best CB their best WR and arent making a lot of improvements just getting worse the fans there should be pissed at Mike Brown all that cap space and getting nowhere fast.
Cleveland Browns: Colt McCoy is the starter and I agree with Holmgren on that. Still need a big receiver for McCoy to go to,nice TE and great running game. Look for them to be on the upside this year.
Denver Broncos: Tim Tebow should be the guy this year he is a winner no matter what everyone says about his skill set he will become a good QB in the future. But they do have a new coach and no running game if they dont fix those issues they will not have a good season.
Houston Texans: Now that they have J. Joseph and D. Manning to add to there defense I believe this will be a playoff team this year for the first time since joining the league in 2002, not to mention there offensive and defensive stars Schaub,Johnson,Foster,Owens,Cushing,Ryans, the two listed above, and last but not least Williams with that talent Kubiak needs a playoff birth or hes out.
Indianapolis Colts: No running game as of yet and mostly piss poor defense and offensive line but they do have Peyton manning who is coming off of neck surgery but should be fine by the start of the season,Reggie Wayne,Dallas Clark, and two nobodies in Collie and Garcon who are now turning into great options for Manning. Look for the usual Colts if you know football then you know what I mean.
Jacksonville Jaguars: A few very nice signings in free agency but it all comes down to if there fans show up because if not goodbye Jacksonville hello L.A.
Kansas City Chiefs: Mediocre QB I am not sold on him as there starter, on the other hand Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones make a great backfield as an alternative Dwayne Bowe new arrival Steve Breaston ( good pickup from Cardinals) and Tony Moaki are a dangerous receiving core if Cassel can get the ball to them. They made the playoffs last year but I still have not seen enough to believe they eill do it again.
Miami Dolphins: Good acquisitions in picking up Marshall last year and Bush this year, still no QB so I wouldn’t put anything on this team to do anything big this year, but if they get a QB like Orton I think they can give a good fight.
New England Patriots: Tom Brady and Bill Belichick make the best coach quarter back team in the NFL and with just that its playoffs.
New York Jets: Mark Sanchez is a below average QB in the league and I don’t believe they can win a super bowl with him taking the snaps but they do have a stellar defense and nice run game and a pretty good receiving corps look for them to make the playoffs but not win the super if they get there.
Oakland Raiders: Al Davis no QB no receivers and I feel bad for the two good RB they do have because if Namdi leaves they will be the only thing left to try and keep this team afloat in the NFL.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Look for them to be on the downside this year Roethlisberger and Mendenhall are both overrated players at there positions, they still have a great defense and good receiving corps but I do not see them making a late run in the post-season I know it sounds crazy the Steelers not in the playoffs but that’s just my gut feeling.
San Diego Chargers: What can I say the Chargers get me every year I pick them in there week division but something always seems to happen I think Rivers is one of the elite quaterbacks in the league and with a healthy Antonio Gates descent run game and Vincent Jackson (if he doesn’t hold out on his contract) I will probably put my foot in my mouth by picking them yet again to win there division
Tennessee Titans: Good pickup of an aging but still great QB in Matt Hasselback. Great run game with Chris Johnson and second string Javon Ringer but no receivers and a sub par defense look for them to finish third or last in there dividion this year.
NFC
Arizona Cardinals: Well they think they have there franchise QB in newly acquired Kevin Kolb but we will see I havnt seen enough from his days as an eagle to say hes finally the one but only time will tell, great receiver in Larry Fitzgerald but yet again barely a run game and after losing DRC on the defensive side its going to be tuff for them this year.
Atlanta Falcons: Great QB, great receivers, good running game, very good defense, and yet I still find it hard they win the superbowl this year they will make the playoffs but when there backs are against the wall they need to prove they can get past it that’s what will be there biggest challenge.
Carolina Panthers: Good job on taking care of there own guys in the re-signing process but should have cut ties with Deangalo Williams and gone after Reggie Bush. With new QB Cam Newton I think this team can be a winning team with the right amount of luck but without it I also think they can be terrible.
Chicago Bears: After last season in the playoffs I think they lost most of there respect for QB Jay Cutler and with the not so good signing of Roy Williams and losing D.Manning to the Texans its going to be hard for this team to make it back to the post season.
Dallas Cowboys: In my eyes the most loved and most hated team in the NFL is going to be looking on the upside from last years disappointing season with a new head coach and Romo returning I think they have the tools to make it to the playoffs and maybe more who knows.
Detroit Lions: WOW is what comes to mind. They are going to have one of the best defenses in the league and if Megatron and Stafford start clicking early….. I have high hopes for this teams season although they need to start winning on the road theres no reason this team cant be good this year.
Green Bay Packers: I didn’t believe with losing Ryan Grant and Jermichael Finley that they would of done what they did kudos to Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy for taking this team to the superbowl and winning it last year but on another view don’t be surprised if they get knocked out early this year.
Minnesota Vikings: I am at a loss with this team I really want to wait and see how Mcnabb plays in this system, but still having Peterson a pretty good receiving corps and a really good defense this team can be successful.
New Orleans Saints: Drew Brees is a great QB and he has above average receivers to throw to and yet still I don’t see the defense holding up there end this year I dnt expect it to be there best year yet.
New York Giants: Little brother Manning will never be his big brother but year after year they find a way to compete in that very difficult division. If they don’t resign Bradshaw its going to be rough but I think they can still compete. Very nice defence.
Philadelphia Eagles: Michael Vick and Jeff Reid will make it very hard for anyone else to grab this division. I hope Deshean Jackson doesn’t hold out on his contract very long but still even without him for a few games they will be a force to be reckoned with.
San Fransisco 49ers: I am probably one of the only believers besides Harbaugh that sees Alex Smith as being an NFL QB but I do and I think with Crabtree,Gore,Davis, and the defense they can win in that division.
Seattle Seahawks: Hmmmmmm……..bad QB situation and a few confusing free agent signings this team doesn’t look so hot.
St. Louis Rams: Awesome second year QB in Sam Bradford a great RB in Jackson a mediocre receiving corps and a mediocre defense. This may become the seahawks from last year but still you shouldn’t think they can beat the saints like the hawks did last year on a fluke performance from Marshawn Lynch. This team WILL be Mediocre.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: This team is looking on the upside with a young QB and a young RB with a lot of potential and other nice pieces surrounding them this team may be on the upside and yet its still hard to see them winning that division with the likes of Atlanta and New Orleans still running the show.
Washington Redskins: Bye Bye Mcnabb and Haynesworth hello well ummmm nobody special this team is a mess and have a long way to go before competing in that stellar division so don’t get your hopes up Redskin fans.
